As a guest visiting us for a Wedding day, we appreciate there will be a lot of information our couple will be aware of, that you are not. So to help make your visit to Spicer Manor as smooth and enjoyable as possible, please take a moment to read the following information before arriving.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms at Spicer Manor must be booked directly through the couple hosting the wedding. Please contact them if you have any questions regarding bedrooms, the couple have control over who can book any available bedrooms. We cannot take bookings from guests for bedrooms.
All guests booked into a bedroom are supplied with a safety deposit box, towels, face cloths, a hair dryer, hand wash, body wash, shampoo and toilet rolls. All water glasses, water, tea and coffee can be accessed in the kitchen or bar area.
Arrival & Departure Times
Guests attending the wedding should plan to arrive one hour before the ceremony unless they are staying in a bedroom the night before.
On the wedding day, the bar will close at midnight with departures no later than 12.30am unless you are staying overnight in one of our bedrooms.
For guests staying overnight, check-out time is 10:00am on the day of departure.
Food & Catering
Spicer Manor is a self-catering venue. Breakfast is not included unless the couple hosting the wedding have chosen to provide it for their guests. There is also no option to purchase any additional food on a wedding day, so please bear this in mind
Bar & Drinks Policy
We operate a fully licensed bar, and on wedding days only drinks purchased from our bar may be consumed on the premises. Any guests not adhering to this request will be asked to leave the premises and the couple may have a deduction from their security deposit.
Tea & Coffee
Complimentary tea and coffee are available throughout your stay and during a wedding day for all guests to enjoy.
Smoking & Vaping
For the comfort of all guests, smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated smoking shelter.
Parking
There is ample parking available on site for guests attending the wedding.
Local Amenities
Please note that there are no local shops or cash machines within walking distance. The nearest amenities are approximately a 10-minute drive away, so we recommend planning ahead if you may need supplies.
Local Transport & Accommodation
If you require transport, we have a recommended list of local taxi companies below. We also have a sister company www.yorkshirepremiumcottages.co.uk providing local self-catering accommodation. Alternatively, the closest larger hotels we can recommend are the Holiday Inn or Hotel Nineteen at Dodworth or Premier Inn Sheffield (M1, Jct 36).
